1.1. All material on this Website is (unless otherwise stated) copyright ©DCID 2018. Reading, copying or adapting any material implies agreement to these terms and conditions.
1.2. Users are permitted to view, print and download the material for personal, non-commercial use only but in so doing are not permitted to remove or amend any trade mark, copyright or other proprietary notice. Users may not distribute, transmit, reproduce or publish by electronic or any other means any part of the data without the prior written permission of DCI/EMRR. All other rights reserved.
1.3. Whilst DCID endeavour to ensure that the information on this Website is correct, it is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, and no warranty, express or implied, is given as to accuracy or completeness and DCID does not accept any liability for any error or omission. DCID shall not be liable for any third party claims or losses of any nature including, but not limited to, loss of profits, direct, indirect, special or consequential damages arising from a third party’s use or inability to use this Website.
1.4. DCID accepts no responsibility for the content on any site to which a hypertext link from this site exists. The links are provided “as is” with no warranty, express or implied, for the information provided within them.
1.5. All authors or providers of a link into this site should note that DCID does not necessarily read, check or edit the context from such links and DCID accepts such material linked to its site purely on the basis of an understanding that DCID is a distributor (not a publisher) of such material and by linking to this site, the author or provider of the link gives an implied warranty that he/she/it will indemnify DCID in the event of any action arising as a result of such material appearing on or via this site. All persons accessing this site are also put on notice of such fact.
1.6. DCID makes efforts to ensure that its publications, advertising and offers on this site fully meet the requirements of English law and foreign laws of any country where it is intended for such content to be viewed. In the event that a foreign country's law may not be fully complied with, then DCID shall be deemed not to be directing such content to that particular country.
1.7. This Website provides users with a free information service, but should DCID add services for which payment is required, users will be notified within the site and given instructions for subscribing to any such services.
1.8. While DCID makes all reasonable attempts to exclude viruses from the Website, it cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability is accepted for viruses. Thus, you are recommended to take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information from this site.
1.9. No contract will exist between you and DCID for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until DCID accepts your payment or you receive an email confirming that it has dispatched. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time DCID sends the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail). For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England.
1.10.These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with English law.
2. Returns & Refunds Policy
2.1. When you receive the products you have ordered, we recognise that you will want to try them to ensure the fit and feel of the item is as you envisaged.
2.2. Please remember, we can only issue you with a refund if the returned product concerned is in a fully re-saleable condition.
2.3. You may return new, unworn or unused products within thirty (30) days for a full refund of the cost of the goods. Items should be returned in their original packaging.
2.4. We reserve the right to reject the returns of goods, which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Policy this includes goods which are not in new or unused condition, or which are returned after the above period. Goods may not be refunded unless they are faulty and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where a repair is not economically viable, no refund will be made. Please see section 2.5 below 'Determination of any diminished value of goods'.
2.5. Determination of any diminished value of the goods
In order to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods you shall handle and inspect the goods (i) with due care and (ii) in the same manner as you would typically be allowed to do in a shop. Any handling or inspection of the goods in excess thereof may result in a diminished value of the goods, which we will then be entitled to deduct when reimbursing the payment received from you. The determination of any diminished value will be made on a case by case basis. You many open the packaging and inspect the goods. Any installation of the goods should also be expected to result in a diminished value of the goods. Whilst in your possession we remind you that until returned to us you are responsible for the goods and will be liable for any damage to the goods.
Damage to Items in the post
2.6. Damage is rare however notification of items damaged in the post/by courier must be done as soon as possible. Photographs of the damaged packaging and any damage to the goods must be sent as soon as possible.
Faulty Items
2.7. Items which are faulty must be notified to us as soon as possible by email or by letter and will be refunded if the fault is within the first 30 days. Items returned with a fault after 30 days will be offered a repair or replacement of the item, should this not be possible a refund will then be offered.
2.8. Please note that these return guidelines only apply to products purchased on the Website. We cannot accept returns of product purchased elsewhere. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
2.9. All postage costs for returns to be met by the customer.

Restocking Fee
2.11. A restocking fee of unwanted good will be charged outside of the 30 day period at a rate of 15% of product value (Excluding Firearms).
2.12. Firearms Returns may be accepted, A restocking fee will be charged outside of the 30 day period at a rate of 30% of product value.
Refund of Ammunition/Reloading Components
2.13. Ammunition and Reloading Components are non-refundable.
2.14. All Ammunition, Shotgun Cartridges, Reloading Powder and Primers must be collected from us in person as they require a face to face transfer. These items cannot be shipped directly to you.
2.15. Any orders for these items to be shipped directly to a customer will unfortunately be cancelled and refunded.
Special Orders
2.16 Special order items, ordered specifically for a customer’s requirements and to their specifications are non-refundable.
2.17 Air cylinders must not be charged with air until you are confident that it is the correct fit, by doing so you are accepting the air cylinder is a correct fit for your air rifle or air pistol. Please be very careful in checking the fit of any air cylinder to prevent scratches or damage to the fittings.
3. Fourteen Day Cooling Off Period for Internet/Phone/Mail Order
3.1 Right of withdrawal/cancellation
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen (14) days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods or - in case the sales contract relates to multiple goods ordered by you in one order and delivered by us separately - fourteen (14) days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the last good.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (see contact details below) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail).
In order for us to identify your order, when exercising your right of withdrawal please provide information about your name and contact details (full address and telephone number), the order number and about the goods for which you wish to withdraw from the contract of sale.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
3.2 Effects of withdrawal/cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than
- fourteen (14) days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) fourteen (14) days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- If there were no goods supplied, fourteen (14) days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
3.3 You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the below address

3.4. without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen (14) days has expired.
3.5. You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
3.6. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

3.9. Special order items, ordered specifically for a customers requirements and to their specifications are non refundable.
3.10. Air cylinders must not be charged with air until you are confident that it is the correct fit, by doing so you are accepting the air cylinder is a correct fit for your air rifle or air pistol. Please be very careful in checking the fit of any air cylinder to prevent scratches or damage to the fittings and pressure guage.
4. Additional
4.1. All Items remain the property of DCID until paid for in full
4.2. Items ordered must be paid for with in 2 days (excluding weekends), unpaid for goods may be sold to other customers.
4.3. Special order items may not be returned, so ensure that your order is correct when placing.
4.4 Please check delivery timescales on our website for special orders as these may be more than 30 days.
4.3.1 Special order items include out of stock items and items listed in catalogues sections on the DCID Website
4.3.2 All items ordered under section 4.3.1 will be delivered subject to availability, DCID has no control over suppliers delivery times which may require additional licensing in addition to Suppliers own production and shipping timescales.
4.4. Ammunition will only be supplied to licensed individuals or establishments.
4.4.1 Ammunition may be sold under section 11.4 of the firearms act by prior arrangement
4.5. DCID will not be responsible for any injury or damage caused by the use or misuse of our ammunition.
4.6. Firearms will only be supplied to licensed individuals or establishments.
4.6.1 Firearms may be sold under section 11.4 of the Firearms Act by prior arrangement, however proof of legal use of Section 11.4 will be required such as Member of Showman's Guild. Each request will be assessed and decided upon on a case by case basis.
4.7. DCID will not be responsible for any injury or damage caused by the use or misuse of firearms supplied.
4.8. Second Hand Items are Sold as seen, the buyer excepts them as seen there is no guarantee or refunds offered.
4.9. DCID will not be responsible for any injury or damage caused by the use or misuse of second-hand items supplied.
4.10.Conditions of sale for items originating from the USA under the U.S. Department of State regulations (DSP-83)
4.10.1. Any item falling under DSP-83 supplied to a UK company may only be resold in the UK.
4.10.2. Any item falling under DSP-83 supplied to a Non UK company may only be resold in the country the item is sent to.
4.10.2. Without prior written approval of the U.S. Department of State, we will not re-export, resell, or otherwise dispose of any of those items outside of the UK or to any person including the end-user, if there is reason to believe that it will result, directly or indirectly, in disposition of the item contrary to the representations made during the import of the item
4.10.3 Where practical we will re-licence products falling under DSP-83 for export. This will cause a delay in shipping as we have no control of the licensing procedure.
4.11.Pictures for illustration only, products may differ to the image shown
4.12.Where products are special order or out of stock, then all reasonable measures will be taken to ensure a speedy delivery, any delivery times given will be an indication only and not binding. We will endeavour to keep customers up to date with any changes to shipping delays.
